Camp and Wilderness Title
This track offers technical outdoor skills and natural history background as well as experiences and tools for exploring spirituality through nature connection. Learn how to identify the plants and trees around you, concoct herbal teas and balms, plan for an overnight camp-out with a group of people, and improve your fire-building and shelter-building skills. You can also take the more contemplative route in this track, experiencing earth-inspired prayer, meditation and other practices designed to help you develop a better awareness of the relationship between the wilderness around you and the wild terrain within you.

Camp & Wilderness Track Intensives
Option A: Technical Skills – Spend your day in the woods learning about how to pitch a rainproof tarp when a storm is coming, making cooking fires, using map and compass for navigation and more.

Option B: Wilderness Spirituality – Spend your day outdoors exploring varied meditation, movement (i.e. tai chi or yoga), prayer and awareness practices to develop a deeper sense of your spiritual connection to nature and ways to carry this contemplative awareness into your everyday life.

Note on Track Intensives:
Most of the Seminar offers a program format in which participants choose several classes per day to attend based on a schedule of classes running concurrently across the four tracks. On the third day of the Seminar, each track will spend a full day together in order to explore their focus area in more depth. Visit each track to learn about the intensive offered in that track.

Note: You do not have to attend the Track Intensive for the track you register for.  If you would like to use this Track Intensive day as a way to explore multiple areas of interest or feel that one of the Track Intensives in another track will better suit your learning needs and goals, you are free to attend whichever one suits you best.
