Surprise Lake Camp (SLC), the parent organization of Teva Learning Alliance, has built, promoted, supported, molded and been instrumental to the success of Teva and its mission. This ground-breaking camp offers what few other camps can give: a chance to teach children the important relationship between being Jewish and caring for the environment.

SLC was established in 1902. Over its nearly 110 years of history, SLC has provided a haven for for literally generations of Jewish children in the picturesque mountains of Cold Spring, NY. What makes SLC the best is the beauty of the site, the richness of the people and the program, the sense of history and tradition, and the magic they create when the whole thing comes together.  We invite you to explore the SLC website to learn more about the camp.
